How this works:

First you create a video greeting in your browser. Then you can send the video to an email address. This email will contain a link to a web-page where your video greeting is presented.

The video greeting will be sent to the receiver when you have paid. Our partner for handling payment is Paypal and you can pay using VISA and MasterCard creditcards,

How to create a video greeting:

  • Choose a character, a background and a picture text by clicking on the pictures.
  • Write the text you want the character to say.
  • Push the "Read text" button. The server will then create the animation for you to see.
  • You can make new selections and change the text as many times as you like.
  • Add receiver email address, your email address and write a text message.
  • Order and pay, and an email will be sent to the receiver.
The service is available on Windows computers with Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer.

If the voice does not work:

Go to this page if the voice does not work as you would expect.

If other things does not work:

Operating system and browser:
This web site has only been tested for Windows and Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer, Mozilla Firefox 0.9.3 and Opera 7.11. Other alternatives will be provided as we get time to test it.

When using Opera 7.11 we had to let Opera Identify as Opera (Ctrl+Alt+O) to get Java to work.

Does your computer have a sound card? If it does not have a sound card you will get an error message when the video creation page tries to play the speech text. Otherwise it will work.

Java:
You need to have Java installed on your computer, and the installation must be correct for the video creation page to work. If Java is not already installed on your computer, or you have a too old version, you will be asked to install Java when entering the video creation page,

Installing Java must be done from a user account that has "Administrator privileges". This is a common cause of problems: Java installed from a common user account, and then the linking of the web-browser and Java does not work.

Sometimes a computer may have several versions of Java installed, and this can cause confusion on the system. You would then have to de-install the old versions by using the "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. After removing all old version, install Java again. You can do this by entering the video creation page since this page detects missing Java and leads you to a new installation.

Too many users that at the same time try to create video greetings may cause problems. The server does not have unlimited capacity, and may therefore have limited capacity to deliver web-pages, sound files and Java applets all at the same time.

Other programs that run at the same time as the animation program on the video creation web page may interfere and create problems. For example we have had instances of computers having Adobe Photoshop opened and then it is difficult to enter the video creation page.
